Just picked up a flier at Andy's Tackle. Looks like WRIF is going to have a walleye tourney in the Detroit area. $130 team entry. $3000 payout. Erie Metro on April 23. Anyone entering?

They also have bass :), catfish, and muskie

Going to be a busy river with the M.W.C there the same day.
Could be a lot of high speed traffic in the morning and afternoon.:)

Oh, that's right. Good lord, I'm staying off the water that day! I think I'm going to enter the 4-lettered fish tourney in July :)

Something doesn't quite jive on the payouts:

Entry fee $130 per boat. Based upon 101 boats, they'd collect $13,130, and per their website pay out a total of only $4,500, down to 8th place per for a 34% payback.

There's no mention of any of the proceeds going to charity, so I'd question why they'd be retaining 66% of the entry fees. Maybe the Riff girls will be there....

Hey Tom, They are just learning. I'm going to give them a hand along with all the other stuff that I'm doing. It's a multi-specie event not just a walleye gig. You need to look at the whole picture. I think the RIF girls will be there, too. OH MY!
