Entry Deadline is Friday April 8, 2005 at 10:00P.M. No entries will be accepted after the deadline.
The WWA is a friendly, fun, and affordable way to participate in the competitive world of walleye fishing. Extensive media coverage of tournament results can be found on www.worldwalleye.com, www.walleyecentral.com and in the Badger Sportsman Magazine, the official publication of the WWA. Subscriptions to the Badger Sportsmen are included when anglers become members of the WWA.
These are just some of the reasons anglers choose to fish the WWA, “A tournament circuit for fisherman, run by fisherman”.
The World Walleye Association is sponsored by Yarcraft Boats.

The WWA is a two-man team event. Each fisherman can keep three.

Heard Lash and Joseph won with about 34 pounds. Heard there were only 4 teams too. How much does a 4 team tourney pay anyway?

Thanks Bob.

We would have like to seen a better turnout but you're fishing to bring in the best bag of fish you can-regardless of how many entrants there are, as we would in any other tournament. If you check the WWA site (link below) it already has updates and pictures of all the WWA tourneys to date, including the Erie event.

As far as payout, I believe they pay the top 15% of the field as a rule. With 4 entrants-that meant only paying the top spot.
