View Full Version : When does your wife or girlfiend start to nag you if you are online?

I check the sight on lunch, during the day. When I get home at night I like to have family time. I usually don't get online until after 9:00 at night.
Or, when my wife turns on Will and Grace, or any other mindless sitcom, then it's time to go online.
I try and not get online and family life competing for my time. If they do compete, family will win everytime. By making this choice I never get nagging and if I have to get online for something it's never a problem, because I've never let the computer take me away from family time.
just another balancing act.

I'm last in line for the computer, after the wife and two teenagers. Never fails, I finally get my "turn" and then it's nothing but greif. They all constantly check e-mails and type replys so when I tie it up to do something serious(WC), I break their musical chair routine. "You're on for an hour" they say. Yes I am, but it's still less than them being on and off for 6 hrs. almost constant. Had to put my foot down and tell'em that if I want my hour for the Wednesday night Guest Chat at 7pm Central time, that it was just going to be that way. Unless they had Homework requiring use of the computer, they were going to wait. Most of the time I get on when they're in bed or gone to school. I work swing shift so I get lots of non-prime time.
As of this time there are close to 45 liars....oh wait were fishermen, we all are liars....LOL...maybe there are 45 people where their wives like them in the other room and quiet......LOL

I am the wife. If you are online and finding good fishing spots orgood deals, I don't have a problem. ;-)

"Good" fishing spots and "good" deals. Hmmmmmm. Seems to me a gray area open to interpretation. Well, looks like we're gonna get our butts chewed on again. lol.
Oh yeah. You don't see a problem with that. Right. We've all heard that story before. "No problem Honey. If you think fishing is more important than us. Just go and have fun. Don't worry about us we'll be okay."

I don't get any nagging until the kid starts crying then it's shut down now or face the wrath! Also I work odd shifts so I can usually get a little time in when the rest of the world is sleeping or working.

My better half doesn't quite 'nag' but does drop reminders every now and again, such as "how long are you going to be on there?". Of course, my stock reply is "just a few minutes"...but she and I both know what that means.
Tight lines!

I voted for number 2, but My wife is not a nagger. Seriously, I trained her well. Or I am ****ed lucky. :)
My wife just shakes her head and says "Walleye Central Again"
Once in a while I can cross her up and say "No Winnebago Walleyes"
It's lucky I work third shift. I can get on more often, but at odd hours.
