Mike,
You are quite welcome. I hope the session you atended had some good questions as they were neccessary, and very much appreciated. As always, I was glad to get there, but glader still for it to be over. We had a good time and Norton Marine nearly doubled the number of boats sold from last year. John Estes (Glyde Ryde) was a treat to spend some time with, and I trust he was happy with the reception his fine products recieved.

Thanks again and good fishin, Jim

They had Jims Ranger in a pond and he had rods and lines deployed to simulate as closely as possible the trolling procedures that you big water people use. The floating boat was the stage. It was downright terrific. Any show promoters out there really need to look at Jim and Mark Brumbaugh for next year. You folks that werent there missed a class act. John Estes

Wow, nobody's EVER said that before! :)

Actually, John's a blast when the bite is on. Gets pretty excited. With the untold thousands of nice walleyes that have come over the side of his boat, to still get pumped up over a flurry of 16-inchers--ya really gotta admire that.

MOeyes,
Actually we stayed in the same room at Dunkirk earlier this year. (I knew he snored). (And by the way, so do I). 1st one asleep wins!!!

I think it's safe to say that John and I could either one get a bit testy when the fish don't cooperate. (don't forget I used to be called "The fisherman from #####") But hey, I'm trying to overcome that bad reputation.

good luck. Love them Glyde Rydes!!

ETT, obviously it takes two to know one. Long live the log-sawing Glyde Ryder! But as far as losing that rep of yours goes, more likely you'd lose your edge, don'tcha think? The day may come when 'eye guys (and gals) judge each other on how they did when fishing with you. The T-shirt will say, "I survived a slow day with ETT!" :7

Anyway, thanks for keeping my partner alive. I hope you pumped him full of some good info!

Mike
