Me and the guys at work are thinking about building a "Shop" library of In-Fisherman videos. I like the magazine and was wondering if the videos are a worthy investment. If each of us buys 2 or 3 vids it would make for a fairly complete set. We need something to keep us entertained until spring and it would not hurt to learn something by accident either.

I have several of the walleye videos and I enjoy them very much. I also believe that I have learned some things from them. If nothing else they will reinforce things you may already know, but don't practice. And you're right, they make good viewing over the winter months.

I think they are more entertainment orientated. They do have a lot of advice and tips, but it's the same thing they always preach about. There never seems to be anything new. I think it's kind of funny how one video says to fish fall 'eyes on clear sunny, calm days, and the next one tells you to fish cloudy, windy days. Don't get me wrong, I own several, and enjoy them very much. It's always neat to see Al fight a really big pig.

ARB,
I found the In-Fishermann videos to be a quality product - just what you would expect for the most part. If you're relatively to the Way of the Walleye, these tapes present the info in an interesting, entertaining and informative way.

However, some of the tapes now seem a bit dated. Five to ten years is a long time when it comes to electronics, trolling and a few other topics.

Overall, they're worth my time & money.

I agree the tapes are worth the $9.99 and they are interesting. BUT they do lack substance in terms of what the fisherman are using, where they're fishing, etc.. They do however show fisherman catching fish. Overall entertaining.
