FoodSource Lures Joins GNWC Sponsorship Team

Grand National Walleye Cup (GNWC) Executive Director Bernie Barringer announced today the signing of the FoodSource Lure Corporation as a National Regional and Championship Sponsor.
FoodSource Lures are the world's first and only molded fishing lures made entirely out of edible ingredients. They are not plastic; instead, they are 100 percent protein-and nutrient-rich fish food.
According to Ed Rogers, President of the FoodSource Lure Corporation, you can rig them and fish them like soft plastic lures. And, unlike some other soft baits, you can put wet FoodSource Lures back in the bag with unused lures.
"We are excited about partnering with FoodSource Lures. This new technology that enables actual food to be made into a fishing lure is something that will help fishermen catch more fish more often," said Barringer.
As a National and Regional Championship Sponsor, FoodSource Lures will be providing the "FoodSource Lures Top Family Team" award of $200 in FoodSource Lures per team at each of the seven regional championships and the national championship. In addition, samples of this new lure will be given away at each of the championships.
The FoodSource Lure Corporation is, likewise, excited about the opportunity to be part of the GNWC sponsorship program. Rogers said, "The walleye is one of our target species, and we want to be involved with top quality walleye events. We looked at the GNWC, liked the concept and the organization, and felt it was a great way to get our product out to the public. We support families and family activities, so we are especially happy to be able to offer the 'Foodsource Lures Top Family Team' award."
Barringer added, "FoodSource Lures represent a breakthrough in fishing technology, and we're thrilled to be a part of their marketing effort."
