i read this little list defining a "piggy" and not the kind that backwater eddy likes!! i agree with him and thought you guys might like it. and "dave in minnesota", if you read this, you have it right on and i hope it's ok that i used it.
The pig's the guy who:
1. Takes home a limit of fish when he can and goes back for round two in the afternoon.
2. His vocabulary is limited to the word "limit".
3. His Nickname is "Pail Full".
4. His the guy you can never sell a DU or Pheasant Forever ticket.
5. His the guy who always shoots his deer, first to the bar to tell his buddies, and gets around to cleaning his deer next week.
6. He's the guy who cleans out his freezer each summer and throws out all that "freezer burned" meat.
7. He's the guy who posts his land, and runs to hunt public land first.
8. He's the guy who leases land and does everything he can to make sure nobody can share his good fortune.
No, the Pig is not young, old, white, black, red, republican, democrat, resident or non-resident. He's just a "Pig".
In my youth, the "Pig", might have been me on several occassions in life.
But, the "Pig" never would be in my elk camp,or be in my duck blind cause he's not welcome. I guess I grew up along the way in life as a "non-resident" in Vietnam.
I thought after September 11th, we were all Americans again. No, there will always be "Pigs" and there's never enough for "Them" at the "trough of Live".
