The weather looks great for this weekend, we should see some good weights come to the scales. Come out for a fun day and fish with us!

WWA Lake Erie Tournament Information
Location: Huron, OH
Tournament Date(s): 6/26/2005

Registration/Rules Meeting:
The registration and rules meeting will be held on Sunday, June 26th at Cranberry Creek Marina . Registration will begin at 6:00am, with the rules meeting immediately following at 6:40 am. For bait, launch information,or map directions please go to www.CranberryCreek Marina.com

Membership:
Each contestant must be a member of the World Walleye Association in order to fish the tournament.

Limited Field:
Each tournament is limited to 100 teams.

Weigh-in Site:
The official weigh-in site is Cranberry creek marina.

Boat Inspection:
Boat inspection will take place at the marina starting at 6:00 am.

Tournament Hours:
The tournament hours will be from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Boundaries:
U.S waters only.

Tournament Weigh-in Limit:
The tournament weigh-in limit is five fish per team.

Minimum Fish Size:
15 inches

License:
You must have in possession a valid Ohio fishing license.

I fished the tournament. It was a beautiful but tough day on the water. Each team only managed two walleyes, winning weight I think was 8# (obviously not me). Second and third place were separated by .06#. Fish were caught on spoons and cranks, on the Lorain Sandbar and around Kelly's island. Lloyd.

Three teams made up the whole field.That's why the results aren't coming in. There are none.Total embarrassment !!!

Not trying to bash here so don't take this wrong, but is this the end of the WWA? How can they keep going when there numbers have fallen to near nothing in almost all states? Is it going to be an option in the future? Looking at my 2006 tournament calendar.

Observer, This is not a bash either. There is a new circuit coming for 2006. The Great Lakes Walleye Classic. Qualifiers in Ohio and Michigan with a Championship. We are having 2 shoot-outs this year. One on Saginaw Bay, July 30 & 31 and the other on Erie out of Cranberry Creek Marina Oct. 15 & 16, in Huron,OH. You can get all the info @ www.greatlakeswalleyeclassic.com This is a team event, that we are guaranteeing $10,000.00 Ist Place money. Take a look.
