View Full Version : WAAS for X15 and X6 GPS?

From what I can gather off the website, the GM2400 is WAAS enables but the other large units are not. Will this be an upgradable item? I hate to spend the bucks and not have the WAAS technology. Thanks for your input.
I was told by Lowrance that they are upgradable since all that is required is a software change. They plan to do so soon, what ever that means! Since they have been telling us about the new iFinder for over a year and I still have yet to see one in a store, I am not holding my breath.

Thanks Doc. I was talking to a pro staff member, and he seemed to imply that with the s/a turned off, it would not make much of a difference, 3 meters w/was vs 10 to 20without. In the scope of things that may be the case, but you can't blame a guy for wanting it all.
