First let me apoligize to all the pro's who are no longer posting with their real names. I'm am sorry that the actions of so few have caused you to stay away or to post under assumed names. Here's a few reasons.......
We, today are a bad mannered society that cannot discuss things without taking a cheap shot at someone who does not agree with our opinions. We all think we are smarter and deserve to be put on a pedistal just because we can scrap up a few bucks to buy a boat. Because of this we will attack you, call you names, bash your sponsors and in general act like little chidren.
We don't give a d--m about some hurricane victims. (after all it's all about me!)
We don't care if you have been fishing for 30 years. (hey I been fishing for two!)
We don't care about your Ranger (mine, X is bigger & faster!)
We don't care that you can help us with our motor troubles. (it's the factories fault this piece of crap won't run!)
Blah, blah ,blah

I for one do miss your insight. I miss your opinions and years of expirence that led to that opinion. I miss your tales of the good ole' days. I want you back.......giving us the good information you have willingly provided in the past.

I'm not a tournament fisherman, I don't know any of you guy's / gals I'm just a guy who is hanging out here looking for informantion.

To those of you who act like spoiled kids, I'm sure glad you never met my dad, he would have beaten the h-ll out of you for acting the way you have. Respect is earned, not purchased. Grow up.

Let the bashing begin.......................

Always lookin' for a crumb to add to those lockjaw days ya know!!! *wink* :) ~ I kinda think I've done my best to help the youngin's on the path to serious I-Fishin' & to think like a eye rather than a silly meathunter -or- tailpiper.........

OMG, another unlogged meathunter -or- a empty-bag/fish-less tailpiper that doesn't have a "Clue" I guess ... OK, I'll spell it out --

-put me on the fish n' I'll live for another day ...

-or-

-give me some brain-food & I'll live another day or longer cuz I know what to do with it :+

-AND, I hope she'll weigh 16.2 lbs next spring!!! ~ get the drift???

Your thoughts are a bit dis-jointed, but I think I caught your drift, maybe.

Thanks Hangman ~ I was really/truely OK, till I got around Mil-Talk back in the 60s n' I do think you got the drift......... dis-jointed I am!!!

Myself -just a few eater size for close older friends, family & xmas gifts ... the Pigs swim-on to provide lastin' entertainment for those with skills to enjoy another day.......

Well I think you get the drift & it's not to feed a family of four, like some young meathunters on a mission to prove themselves! :)

I for one, have always been around, just get beat up once in a while, but in this profession, one should expect that every now and then. I have not been on the site as much as before, but if you think we as fishermen can be of some help and you can't find one in time of your question, please feel free to email me at: garygray@execpc.com I check my emails every day.

I enjoy this site as much as you do, sometimes we do get beat up, but the moderator's have been Great at watching out for our backside.

Thanks to all that enjoy our comments, and hopefully we can be of help in the future.

Hope this helps,

Gary...

How are you feeling? Did you ever consider a small bimini top after I suggested one? I know how it is (I am a severely insulin dependent diabetic) trying to adjust your love of walleye fishing with your medical needs... it sucks...LOL

Yes I did, and I will have one on next boat, to include an umbrella for when I am on the Bow Mount.

Thanks for the Idea,

My Dad had a couple of smaller ones (umbrellas) attached to the back of the bow seat and the stern seat... from BPS. They worked well... on some kind of gimbal mount...

Keep posting, Gary.
It is really good for W.C. to have your "angle" on things.
Hang in there.
