Went to the boat show in Mpls last night to shop for a dock for my brother. Saw a very unique type of post locking clamp. Instead of the typical bolt through a sleeve system, this one had a spring loaded clamping devise that pinches the pipe to hold in place. It looked like a really great idea, but does it hold as good as the bolt type. Besides the clamps, it also has a unique truss system. The trusses are 8" solid aluminium channel with 4" circles cut out along the entire length. Has anyone had experience with this guy's product. I don't remember the name of the dock, but they are made in Wyoming, MN. This dock has a different look to it so anyone who can figure out my description will know which dock I'm talking about.
Thanks

Jag: I have not seen the dock you are refering to, but the Daka Docks(spellimg wrong) out of North Branch, is a factory direct company and they can beat the price of any out there. You have to pick it up at the factory, however they loan you a trailer to haul it home. I have a boat lift from them, 3600 lb one, and it was only $1700. The closest price to them was over $2500. If you are in the market for a dock, check them out...Waiting FOR SPRING....Kaz
