Can you guy's give me some feedback on what you think of this finder. They have a good price on them at Reeds and I'm looking for a new one.

If you do a search on the archives you will find a lot of positive feedback.....Enough so, that I recently purchased one from Reeds. Look forward to using it this season.

I won't use anything but lpg 2000, it has helped me win many tournaments. If it marks fish, ther are fish ther.

You have a winner with the 2000. Be sure to follow the archives and look at the tuning tips that are occuring, some as recent as last week.

A great unit.

Make sure you get the newest revision that has the whiteline feature. The first units did not have whiteline feature, that is why I held off on buying one.

I bought a lpg2000 in August of last year and I run it alongside my lowrance lms350 and I like the LPG MUCH better. I did recently leave the locater on my boat for a week and the screen shattered......I called the manufacturer and they told me it can be replaced under warranty IF I have the original receipt(I knew I should have kept that darn thing), the factory rep was very unfriendly and not at all concerned with helping me get my locator fixed. I guess I will have to pay the price since I can't find my receipt.....oh well...as long as I get it back before the season starts.

Has anyone here ever used the LPG for ice fishing? If so what did you think of it?

If you search the archives you should find a post I made about using it for ice fishing. I described the settings I used to see a panfish jig (Fatboy) in 38 feet of water. Basically, for overall icefishing a flasher would be better, but if you can't afford both the LPG2000 will do. If you can't find it I will try and remember and repost.
