To all anglers interested in the GLWC Lake Erie Shoot-out scheduled for Oct. 15 & 16 at Cranberry Creek Marina in Huron, OH. We're only about 2 weeks away from this event. I will be at Cranberry Creek from Oct 8 through the week-end of the tournament for you late entrees. If you are not entered by Thursday night, Oct 13th at 8:00 PM (I will be at Cranberry Creek until 8:00), you will not be able to fish. Thanks again for all your support, Yours in Fishing, Bo www.greatlakeswalleyeclassic.com

Well Bo ~ 3 tourney's Down One to Go ... it's way past-time for mother nature to put a smile on her face and some hawgs on "alot" of lines :)

Good Luck, I'll be watchin' from the cheap-seats as always!

Raybob, Thanks for the look. We all have our fingers crossed about the weather. I think we'll be all right. I felt for Bernie and his crew. They came a long, long way to only have a one day event. They're a class act. He knows how to do it right. I'm hoping some of his fisherman will stick around and give us a try, too. Yours in fishing, and watching, Bo

This cold rain and NE wind will help boost your weights Bo. Who would have thought the water temp would still be close to 70 degrees in October. You should hit it about right as those fish that are just out of reach now will be a lot closer by next weekend. Good luck.

According to the owner of the Plantation, they had no rooms left-booked with a wedding (as of two weeks ago).

Rivers Edge Motel in Huron on the River. 419 433 8000. Ask for the "fishing rate" This is less than a 10 minute drive to Cranberry Creek Marina and right next to the Huron Boat Basin for anyone that is keeping a boat there.

Another "fisherman friendly" option in Huron is the Gull Motel. I don't have their number.

Come on already. The weather channel is calling for winds to be out of the west sustained at 17mph with gusts to 30 for saturday. I know its only tuesday afternoon but........

That will provide a nice Erie walleye chop now won't it?
I'm sure Bo and his crew will use the utmost common sense when making game time decisions on whether or not to fish. After all, he has been the victim of poor decision making efforts of others and respects what the fishermen expect.
Good luck to all the patricipants and to Bo and his crew!

OK, Boys, that's quite enough. WWW, thanks for your forecast, it looks alot better than the one I saw. Believe me, safety will come first. I've been there and done that with the rough water and know what it takes, as anglers go, to make a safe call. My anglers are very important to me. If we can only go one day, well, that's what it will be. The $10,000.00 is up for grabs. Come on and see if you can win it. The support has been terrific. See you at Cranberry Creek. Yours in fishing, Bo
