Just curious, how was the DNR at the Championship? Heavy presents? Any stories of boats/slotted fish in the wrong area? Just wondered how that worked out. Looks like alot of fish weighed werer in the slot zone. Good Impact for the tourney? I think it might have been given how many less fish that could have showed up at the scales.

With all the talk of what might happen before the tournament began, I was expecting some incidents, but I didn't hear of anything happening to anyone. No stories. All was quiet.

The people of the Quad Cities were terrific to all the folks who came out for the FLW Championship, and I would like to thank them for their wonderful hospitality...Thank you! It's always a pleasure visiting your area. ;)

I watched the FLW championship, Live feed on my computer at times. I couldn't get a feel for how big the crowd was. Any estimated numbers? The stage looked awesom, and it looked comfortable inside. Was it a tent that was brought in, or an existing building? It looked like an erector set/tent of some sorts. Was it cool (temp) in there? Not the PWT, I was there, and even though that had a nice crowd for the final day...man was it a sauna in there. Just curious.

It was a big erected tent. Lots of steel and canvas. How many, wow. Hard to estimate. They had in front maybe about 100 seats for family, and 6 sets of small bleachers maybe? Depending on the day I would guess between 500-1000, maybe more the last day?

It was well ventilated with plasma screens around to see the pictures of the anglers and their standings. Lots and lots of lights. I guess I would compare it to a TV set almost.

I'm not very good at estimating crowds, so I'll let someone else guess on that one.
As for the tent, it was brought in. It was HUGE, and it was air conditioned! 10 619's were brought in and put around the stage for the top ten anglers to sit in while waiting for their turn to go up. There was a big screen TV behind the big stage that took up most of the back wall, along with three more smaller ones on the side walls and stage. They showed the Bull Shoals event and the Devils Lake event before the weigh in began each day.
The shows are great! The Lindner Group did an excellent job of filming and editing.
The shows, in my opinion, are VERY informative and entertaining, and they put the anglers who actually fish the events in the spot light...no one else. I liked that!
The films of the tournaments was what we all expect from The Lindner Group, and they didn't disappoint us one bit...;)

Job well done guys! I can't wait to see the Erie and Green Bay shows too!

Hey Jul's, do you have any idea or info regarding when the Pro side qualifying events are intended to air and/or what network will be carrying the shows? Thanks for keeping us up to date on FLW happenings. RJ in Montana..

Juls, who do the pro's fish with after the co-angler side is finished? Do they have an observer to help net fish or control the boat? And, how are they picked, if so?

"Fox Sports Network" will air the shows.
They were originally due to start airing in late October, but due to a FSN air time scheduling conflict they will probably start airing in November. An exact date is not available yet. As soon as the air dates are known, I'll try to remember to post them for you.

They fish alone, but have a camera man in their boats. The Pros do it all themselves on day 4.

Hey Juls,

The shows will air in Dec. Perfect time to shake the early winter blues!

Those of us who have seen some of the shows think the job done by Lindner Media is going to turn the tournament TV programming on its ear!

INCREDIBLE! an actual educational show, guiding you to catch more fish on that type of system as well as all the excitement of the tourney!

Can't wait til it's aired!
