Two things I can't understand about the FLW League schedule......one being Petenwell in April, the other is Winnebago in July. Neither one of these venues have been what they could be due to the timing of the tournaments. This is the third year now that they are having two tournaments on the Winnebago system. I'm not impressed with the schedule, again.

MDB:
Look at the sign-ups. The two largest tournaments that the FLW has in Wisconsin are the ones on BAGO. Why would they change?
Don't get me wrong, If I were king, I would have the July tournament at another location. But look at their side of this (the business side) and you can understand.

MDB,
Trying not to pick on you but more less the subject matter.
What does it matter when the date of a tournament is? It's a tourament, everybody is in the same boat facing the same conditions. The fish are still there to be caught. So if that is the date, figure them out and go catch them. If its the same date each year and same body of water that should make prefishing easier.
People call themselves tournament anglers that can catch eyes 12 months 24/7. However, they all want the tournament during the peak bite to make catching easier and to show case the body water. I say put some tournament during off peak times and lets see who is the cream that will rise to the top and who is only a peak bite fisherman.
Thanks for reading my 2 cents.
