Here's the poop:.... Saginaw River Fall Classic....26 November 2005...Launch out of Zilwaukee River Front Park....Captain's meeting at 7:00 am same date...." Blast-off" 8:00 am.....$50.00/team, enter by mail,before 11/22/05 or $60.00/team register at launch site between 6:00am-700:am on date of tourney....Pay-out to ten places(w /min. of 40 boats)...."big fish" prize by seperate sponsor....Launch fee:$4.00....of which the Lions Club of Zilwaukee will donate a buck toward a phone card for our troops overseas...There is a bait shop within a block from the site......More on the "classic" will be on the Saginawbaywalleyeclub website......Hope to see you there!

I have checked the SBWC web site and it has no new info as of today.
I have a few questions--is it going to be river only or will the bay be open also? Do you have to be a member of the club to fish this tourney?

River only. I don't think you need to be a member to participate.
Club membership not required........all are welcome........This is River Classic.From the Independence bridge in Bay City to the confluence of the Shiawassee and Cass Rivers....The Tittabawassee river from State Street bridge downstream.

Is this Fall Classic really going to happen? Or is it going to be a joke like a lot of other SBWC issues and events? Been hearing about this and looking for registration materials or information but cannot find anything on it. What is the deal? Time to get the stuff out or forget about having a nice tournament..... I don't think the fisherman are interested in fishing a tourney with 7 boats.
What specific questions might you have?.......seems this forum gets them answered........or you can call me 989 295 8102(aNDy)

How about where do we get a flyer and how do we sign up ??
Flyers should be available Monday or Tuesday7 ....I'll post again at witch stores they'll be available......If you're ansy, sign-up info is available on the Saginawbaywalleyeclub site....
p.s.....some of the "river rats" are begining to find scattered walleyes.
