Hi all, I am posting to let you know that I, now, have commitments from 17 teams for the Shoot-out this Sunday. Please, keep me informed as to your plans. Thanks again, for all your support, Bo, GLWC

I have a question. Do you have 17 with paid entries or 17 teams that have expressed an interest? A quick search on here shows that on October 5 you said you had 21 teams entered for last weekend but yet there were teams that signed up on Wednesday or Thursday of last week that had boat numbers below 21. Something doesn't add up with what you had posted.
Also, are there any rules that suddenly aren't going to be important when the rules meeting comes around like there was last Friday?
Not trying to be critical but trying to figure out what the "rest of the story" is.

Mr. Spectator, We have 17 teams that have expressed an interest with gaurantees of signing on the dotted lines as of Friday. I had 12 teams that backed out on me as of Thursday last due to bad weather. The only part of the rules that have changed was the 2pm off the water that I should have deleted. My anglers all agreed with the decisions that were made at the meeting. If you were present, you would have known that. If you're thinking about fishing, please let me know that, too. Hope this answers all your doubts. If we don't have 30 teams, it's not going to fly, so don't sit on the fence.Come on and take the $10,000.00 1st place. Cheers, Bo
Bo, Too bad I no longer respond to unregistered postings. Otherwise I could tell Spectator what I think of his negative tone.
I hope these last couple days get you what you need, we'll see you on Sunday.

Hi ETT, Thank You, but Spectator did have a point and I hope that I answered his questions for him. Looking forward to seeing you again. Yours in Fishing, Bo
Bo,
If it is possible, could you post on here friday night some time on whether the tournament is ago or not? Some of us only get 1 chance a week to get out and do something, so we dont want to be sitting at the dock just to learn that the tourny gets canceled. Thanks for your help..

Juls,
When they forcast 5 footers isnt that a small craft warning? I hope that they are wrong as they are 80% of the time. But the only thing that bothers me is that they always get a northeast wind wrong, in my experiences. Wrong in a bad way. They always predict it less than the wind usually is.

Juls,
You should know Lake Erie well enough to know that with a strong Northeast wind that subsides early Sunday morning, will still have the pond rockin and rollin until the weigh in. Factor the rain into it and the day looks about as much fun as the MWC on the Detroit River 2005. Good luck to all though, Ill think of everyone while Im sitting in my doghouse blind, drinkin a hot cup of joe and watching deer run circles around me.

Pullemslow, You know, it's absolutely amazing, that you guys that don't fish, have so much to say anonamously. Hope the deer wins! Bo

Hi Larry, It's nice to hear from an old friend. Thanks and you're right. I guess I'm a little edgy right now. Unfortunately, My partner and I have alot riding right now and some of this unnecessary negativity sure doesn't help. Yours in Fishing, My friend, Respectfully, Bo

Bo-while I haven't mustered the courage :) to fish your tournaments yet, I am eager to see them succeed.
Gives me another option if and when the Mrs. and I decide to do the team event scene.
However, I don't plan on doing the 6-9 foot wave scene ever again. Tried it once, didn't care for it. Must be because I wasn't in one of those glass boats that they can run WOT and stay dry in them. :rotflmao:

Hi Rod, Believe me, we are doing everything in our power to continue and succeed with this tour. Our announcement, for next year, will come very shortly after this week-end. We're taking one tournament at a time. I wanted to get the shoot-out completed before jumping into 2006. Believe me, I, totally, understand, about the 6 to 9's. It's not alot of fun. We've all been there and done it. I'm praying for a nice day and 30 teams for Sunday. If we are a go, come on by the weigh-in at Cranberry Creek and see what we are offering. I will be making the GO or NO GO announcement tonight and tomorrow morning, on this site and by phone to my Anglers. Thanks for the support, Cheers, Bo www.greatlakeswalleyeclassic.com

I would but it's probably close to a 300 mile trip one way.
Besides, I got a buck walking round my stand that wants to play cowboy and Injuns.
Good luck.
