The Kinzua Allegheny Walleye Association has announced the date for the 2006 John Giordano Memorial Disabled American Veterans Benefit Walleye Tournament. The tourny will take place the weekend of May 13, 2006. The 2005 tourny raised over $16,000 for our disabled veterans. A HUGE success!
We are debating making this tourny a 2 day event. Entry fee would be $200.00. What do you think? Our goal next year is to raise $20,000 for our veterans. We are also considering making every KAWA tourny a DAV event in hopes of raising over $60,000 for our veterans. Please let us know what you think and if you have any suggestions. Last 2 years we have averaged 100 teams or better. Our goal next year is 150 teams. I urge all Walleye Centralites to join us in this worthy cause. Let's work together to make this a WC east event.
