After getting to know Jim and his father Mike, I now know where Jim gets his tenacity from.

Jim's father fought cancer harder and longer than anyone I know. He had several surgeries including removing parts of his lungs and a brain tumor. Several years ago, he was given months to live. It just goes to show what the will to live can do.

I have spoke to Jim a few times in the past few days, and he is holding his own in this difficult time.

He will appreciate all the well wishes for sure, and will back giving us all good advice on when and how to catch the big ones soon.

My family's prayers are with him and his family.

Very few items on Walleye Central bring tears to my eyes. Jimmy became like a brother to me last year as we fished all 6 of the PWT tournaments together. He always spoke with respect and love for his dad. All of us who have been fortunate to have great relationships with our fathers can only imagine Jimmy's pain and sorrow.

Jimmy, my family is praying for you in your time of sorrow. If we can do anything please let us know.

I've spent most of my life fishing. The rest of it I wasted!
Use the WALLEYE CENTRAL BUSINESS DIRECTORY under marine supplies, it works!

Thanks for all the kind thoughts and sympathy. What my dad loved most about life were people and relationships; and that was the most important thing I learned from him.

Something I've realized from traveling and fishing all over this country is that there are some amazing people out there and their kindness has no bounds. Thank You. Jim Carroll NPAA #333
