I will be fishing as a co this year. I was wondering if there is a HP requirment for contingency awards? My home lake has a 9.9 limit so i have a 2005 9.9 Yamaha. Do I qualify?

You should have a shot. I tried to qualify my t8 last year at Erie and the Yamie rep said it had to be the primary motor. Mine was a kicker.

Sorry, No you will not. There is a size, model and year restriction of contigency prizes. Both Yammha and Evenrude have differant rules.

To be eligible for contingency awards, anglers must:
1. Be a registered Ranger boat owner and/or a Yamaha outboard engine owner (Pros must be the original owner).
2. Evinrude owners must have purchased new (new is defined as first purchaser/original owner) a
2004 or later model year Evinrude direct injection or ETEC outboard engine.
3. Furnish proof of ownership at tournament registration.
4. Use the eligible boat and/or outboard during all days of competition if fishing the Pro Division.
The decision of Ranger, Yamaha and Evinrude is final in all matters regarding contingency eligibility.
