New Wyoming Leagues .
Casper, WY- Western Walleye Magazine announces its new Wyoming League for the 2006 season. It will be called the Lowrance sponsored Pro Team Walleye League-Wy. The tournament will be focused on the angler that can fish on the weekends. The tournaments will be two day events, with the team that has the heaviest weight for the two days being the winner. On day one all the teams will be in a shootout with another team that they draw at the rules meeting for head to head competition for $250. The tournaments will have the same tag system, live weigh-ins, and MC as the Lowrance sponsored Pro Team Walleye Circuit has. The top 5 teams per tournament (must fish both tournaments) will qualify for the Princecraft championship and a shot at the $50,000 GUARANTEED first place prize on Devils Lake in North Dakota late August.
The first tournament will be on Keyhole Res. for the "Western Walleye
Spring Challenge" on May 6th & 7th. This lake can produce Lake Erie
weights this time of year.
Next stop will be at Boysen Res. for the "White's Marine Center Summer
Slam" June 17th & 18th.
This lake is full of water and offers many different ways to catch
walleyes.
