Hey fellow fisherman from Illinois,
the four WWA 2006 tournaments for the Illinois Division have been set. All four events will be held on the Fox Chain. Here's the scoop:

Saturday April 1st Rules meeting at 5:00 pm at Hailings Marine in Antioch. TOURNAMENT Sunday April 2nd, 7:00 am to 3 pm.

Saturday April 29th rules meeting at 5:30 AM, TOURNAMENT following 7:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Saturday May 20th rules meeting at 5:00 pm. TOURNAMENT Sunday May 21st from 7:00 am to 3 pm.

Saturday August 26th rules meeting at 5:00 pm. TOURNAMENT Sunday August 27th from 7:00 am to 3 pm.

Who are the sponsors for the WWA? I see that on their website it lists Yar-Craft and Outdoors First, but I thought I read they were moving their website or something.

Just wondering. I'd imagine it's almost impossible to keep a tournament trail business afloat without sponsor backing.

As of now Yar-Craft and Outdoors First are sponsors. We are working on obtaining additional sponsors.

The website will be going through some revisions shortly that we believe anglers will like.

Hey guys, I'm just getting my feet wet as the Media/Public Relations Coordinator with the WWA, and I'm trying to get up to speed with everything. I need to correct my previous post regarding sponsors of the World Walleye Association. Yar-craft and First Outdoors are not sponsors this year. My Bad! We do look for sponsors and will actively pursue such opportunities, but our business plan does not rely on sponsorship support for the successful operation of the WWA. Thanks!
