Spinners off of boards

When you run spinners off of boards do you use a bottom bouncer or a rubber core or snap weight sinker?

If you have a your spinner set up off of a board to run about 10 feet deep and you hit an area or hump that is 6 feet deep does the bouncer keep the spinner from dragging through the muck? Or does it not matter what type of weight you have on at that point?

I use bottom bouncers when using boards, especially when fishing 10 feet or less. Generally when I come across a significant hump I increase speed to let the spinner rise up and avoid dragging bottom - doesn't matter if it's rock or muck you don't want dragging the bottom. Hope this helps!
