I am in the market for a new baitcast setup, and I was curious if pflueger supreme (or any other model) was worth checking into? I'd kind of like to stick to the old names of either plfueger or Shakespear. I'll do some casting with it, but primarily I'd use it for bottom bouncing.

Thanks in advance.

Decent reals for the money, but they are heavy. If you are really looking for quality, I would stay away from them.

I just purchased Pfluger's new TRION reel, actualy, I got two of them, the low profile reel with the flipping switch, and the high proflie one. The TRIONs are new for 2002, and boy are they smooth! Now, I just got them, so haven't had the chance to use them yet, but with everything I can see, they are now making a great reel. At least the TRIONs are.
