Is there a website to look for the results, and a writeups for this tournament?

How many teams will be there, and who will win? Traveler or local?

Pulse and Handel the locals are always very solid they will be tough to beat

Alverson and DenHerder will finish top 10

Klosterman and Nelson are always tough at Chamberlain

I am rooting for Berens and Andera- they have had their share of top 10 finishes at Chamberlain.

What does everyone else think???

I think youre pretty close.

The dutchman will do fine.

Pulse/Handel have to be the favorite locals to do well.

Leonard/Scheneker and Walsh/Hagen are who I'll be pulling for.

With only 49 teams, the entry to the championship is right around the corner. I bet the ND teams are licking their chops because the $50K championship is on DL!

Knowing these guys....here's my picks for top finishers, not in any order:

Pulse/Handel
Iverson/Erickson
McComsey/Stally
Lyon/Pitlik

These guys are always tough. One of these teams will take it all.

This is such a great circut, I can't beleive they don't get more teams!! I guess most guys are like me....time and money. Wish we had more of it!! I would definately fish them. Good luck fellas!!

Chamberlain is a great fishery, but having fished many tourneys there...the weights are ALWAYS close only ounces from a win. There are alot of 17"-19" fish in the system and it only takes one decent fish to make up spots.

Here's my question. Why don't they count the first two days in the final weight? Why not reward the teams that did well the first two days? The way it is set up now, the team that barely squeaked into the top 20 can pop a big fish and win.

I am sure some folks like it this way, but to me, the three day tourney results should reflect on the teams that demonstrated consistancy throughout the tourney. This way you're judged on 18 fish rather than just the final 6 fish caught.

Maybe there is a reason for it I am not seeing? Can someone explain?

I totally agree...I really like how the FLW is doing it now! A reward for every fish you caught. And your right...it eliminates the luck of a big fish!

I have to agree, also. The teams should definetely have a combined weight for 3 days which would determine the winner.

Here is the top 8 teams from last year in order. Look at the place they got, then look at the total three day weight and how the results would have been...

1.Eimers/Bies- 38.5------1st
2.McComsey/Sheets- 36.44-----4th
3.Severson/Gilbertson- 37.03-----3rd
4.Walsh/Hagen- 34.42-----7th
5.Jueneman/Beitse- 37.18-----2nd
6.Klosterman/Nelson- 35.92-----6th
7.wheelhouse/Johnson- 33.58-----8th
8.Swank/Geffre- 36.05-----5th

I guess this isn't my circuit though. So I really shouldn't stick my nose in it. However, I am entitled to my opinion. And that is what these forums are for.

Doesnt it usually update immediately?

Or do you have to wait until everyone weighs in?

Anybody have any reports?

It should be up by about 6 or 7. It usually was by that time last year.

weights are in

Only 3 teams without a limit. Only little over 4lbs difference from 2nd down to 33rd. Lots of chances tomorrow. Nice lead though..

One fish makes all the diference. Or, a limit of cookie cutter slots make the difference. Is the slot one over 20" there now?

Good luck to all!!!

Results are up. Anybodys game. Only ten pounds seperating first and last. Should be an interesting weigh in tomorrow. Good Luck to all the ND guys, Keep it up Jason and Chris, Scott and Keith!!

Slot is one over 20 per person. Report I got is that team in first had all 19-20 inch fish with the one 21 incher. Nice basket for Chamberlain.

There will probably be a 6 pounder caught before it is over and that will change everything.

I am headed for the weigh in tomorrow. Should be fun.

Alright, where are you finding the weigh ins at?

I see Severtson is leading on the western walleye site, but the link for the leaderboard, goes to the entry list.

Alright , I found it.

Its going to take top 12 to make the Friday cut, because of the amount of teams. This makes it harder to get to Friday, but easier to win.

Brian Tordsen's (4th place) first tournament with his new boat. I bet if he knew it was that easy he would have bought one a long time ago.

Looks like a good tourney. A lot of fish being caught with the whole tourney field right at the cut off. Still only takes one bigger fish in a limit to blow it wide open tomorrow. Good luck to the teams!!

DANG BOYS... YA LET ME DOWN!!!

Pulse/Handel
Iverson/Erickson

My pics...man hard to believe these good sticks didn't get in. But, I must say...Fishing Chamberlain is kind of a crap shoot at times. Lot's of close weights.

Its easy to say you can do looking from the outside. Fishing home waters is NEVER easy. Too many people get your hopes up when your fishing the same places as everyone else. Trust me, I know, I've done it for 15 years and have been lucky once to get my home waters to give me a home town roll. There are lots of good sticks out there and they know how to get it done.
