I just talked to Sonny and asked him your question. He said yes, a WI lic. will be ok. You do not need to have both states on a "boundry water".

Good to know. I will get the WI lic. too, because that will take care of Green Bay event also. No need for me to get a MN lic since we do not have an event there this year.

I'm glad you asked, because I would have thought it was the MN lic. we needed. ;)

you might want to get some clarification on the 2 presentations per rod, I am not really sure about that, Minnesota boundries I know but there was a DQ A few years back for something like that, Will not go into details, Hey John in MN go find it for us will you IF 2 jigs per pole, or presentations.

The two presentations per rod is only possible if you are running one rod per angler. The law at Red Wing is two rods per person only if you have one presentation per rod. Hope that helps.

Just a bit of info If you find yourself fishing east of railroad tracks in wisconsin you will need that states license. If you find yourself fishing west of the railroad tracks in Minesota you will need that states license. Hope this helps.
