Chapman's Sports Center is pleased to present its 8th annual Walleye Tournament.

Guaranteed $2000. First Place
85% Payback
60 Boat Limit

Entry Fee: $120. per 2-person team
(Entry must be received by 2pm May 20th, 2006 to avoid late fee of $20. All entry forms must be turned in by 6am on May 21st, 2006)

Where: Holloway Reservoir
Date: May 21st, 2006
Time: 7am to 3pm
Launch Location: Walleye Pike Boat Launch

You can pick up an entry form at Chapman's Sports Center 5605 Davison Rd. Lapeer, MI. or call Rod Chapman at 810-653-0490

Entry Forms can also be picked up at Franks Great Outdoors, Hicks Tackle and Archery, and the Fishing Tackle Grab Bag

Can someone tell if the lake is back to it's normal level yet?

The lake is coming up SLOWLY . Hopefully it will to normal levels by the Tourny. Also heard the Mt. Morris rd. bridge is under construction, this could be a problem for those headed to Columbiaville. Bob

There was a article in the paper tonight stating the water level was 2' below lormal. The boaters were scraping bottom at the launch site which is the only one, also construction on the bridge is still on going which prohibits you from getting up river to where the best fishing takes place

Well, the water had better start rising soon...I think as of today at the water levels the way they are it would be very difficult to have a tourney. Hopefully with all this rain it will help.

The bridge work is all done,and the water level is almost to the summer level. The best fishin is on the big part of lake anyways!!
