Is there a program that can be used to organize tournys?

Im just wondering if the tournaments use a common spreadsheet program such as excel to organize names and weights? or is there a program designed to help a general user add weights and would show the leaders in a real time sitiuation.

While one can do a lot with excel (and I'd be happy to help with a few bits of advise on the formulas needed if you wanted) most of us use custom programming to organize our tournament registration, scoring and points. Scott developed the program that we used for the GNWC and it is very comprehensive. It does thing you would never be able to get Excel to do. Scott is great to work with and it would be worth your while to look into it.

I also have a program in the works that would allow results to be uploaded to the Live Leaderboard after or during the event.

It's been a couple year project but it is "in the works" again

And I've worked with Scott Fields also and would agree that he's a good one to work with and he knows his stuff

I have to agree, Scott would be the one to contact for a program. He works with you every step of the way until you have it just the way you want it. He redid the GNWC program to fit the I.O.W.A. format. It has worked perfectly all year without any glitches!
