Congratulations are in order for Gary Zart and Wayne Jesionwski for a tough bite win on Erie today with 20 pounds and also their 3rd place finish in the very tight Angler of the Year race.

Travis and David Hartman won Angler of the year with a very consistently high finish in 3 of the 4 tournaments this year. That is quite and accomplishment with the caliber of competitors they had this year. The Hartmans finished the year with another 2nd place finish in Lorain.

Second place in the Angler of the year went to another father and son team of Thomas and Tom Sibert.

Great job to all of you.

Correction: The walleye "bite" was not tough but the big fish bite was. All teams brought in a limit of fish except for one that quit fishing aftera very nasty storm rolled through at around 9:30-10AM and most weighed between 13-17 pounds for 5.

Congratulations Wayne and Gary. Way to find the bigger fish in a sea full of perfect eaters.

Also great job and congratulations to the Hartman family on capturing Team of the Year.

Congrats Gary & Wayne on your win. Impressive that you did that without an "anchor" fish considering what was being caught by most teams. Also congrats to Travis and David Hartman winning Team of the Year and the Siberts.
