Looks like one out of the four big fish from Oahe yesterday survived to the weigh in. This fish rode in a Ranger live well. All of the others were in non-ranger live wells. I guess the new oxegen system on the Rangers is the real deal.

Did Ranger do something different than they had back in 2000-2001?

What they had at that time was good, what did they do to improve on it?

I don't believe this tourney is a C&R. I don't think there is a dead fish penalty.

The Ventura Pump/Aerator system is a Ranger option that a person can add. It's an extra aerator, with "pump out". I don't think they had that back in 2000-01.

Even in non-C&R tournaments the fish will be called dead or alive at the launch or dock (since they are trailering to the weigh in site).

Saturday I fished a lake 110 miles from home via some hilly terrain and small communities.

Took over two hours to make it home.

The 15 fish we had in the livewell for our fish fry on Sunday were all still swimming when arriving at my door Saturday evening at 10 PM. The fish were caught between 10:30 AM and 7:30 PM...

The Venturi system is something I had on my Lund, but it never worked as well as the three stage timer system on the Ranger. Showing up at weigh-in with a pump out option so you can actually get your fish out is also a bonus. Should have listened to Juls and Rick and put the front one on a seperate timer...next year.

LOL..I was close...I called it the Ventura instead of the Venturi. Oops! Ex-Gov. of MN was Ventura, wasn't it? :+
