I just bought a used Diawa Sg27LC and need a two paddle walleye handle. The local reel repair shop can't get one? where to go?

Out in oregon land where the walleyes grow bigger and nobody fishes for them.

I am also in the market for a double handle. My dog got bored and chewed on one of mine. Anyone know a good source?

Ttry the gator grip! They have the double handle and just screw off the nut and then replace with no problems!

Interesting thread -- why is the double handle so important?
I am going to purchase some new Daiwa reels -- was not sure whether to get the walleye version.
Thanks.
Who makes the "Gator Grip" handles and where are they available. Needs to be mail order as I'm located in the west away from most of the bigger more popular chain sporting goods stores. Thanks, RJ in Montana..
kinda catchy

Try Bass Pro Shops Master catalog, spring 2002 edition. Page 78 item # 15-392-721-00. Price is listed at $7.99 per. Hopes this helps. Kelly.

I contacted Daiwa directly when I was looking for their dual paddle handles for my SG47LC's that I use when running leadcore. The dual paddle handles are interchangable between the SG27LC's and SG47LC's. I suggested to Daiwa that they give the angler the option to purchase the SG47LC's with the dual handle, like they do with the SG27LC's. Daiwa's website is dawia.com, and Dawia's e-mail contact address is ad-serv@daiwa.com The phone number to call Dawia Customer Service is 800-736-4653.:)

When you buy the reels you can order the SG27LCW , the W being the walleye style. It costs about 2-4 dollars more I think. Better than $7.99.
