Jonathan Shoemaker
09-17-2006, 09:27 PM
The time is near for the top 50 anglers on Tour to challenge for the championship. Instead of giving just a winner try predicting the top five finishers.
Winner)Pete Harsh
2)Rick Lacourse
3)Nick Johnson
4)Jerry Ruffolo
5)Todd Riley

Rumor has it that most of Przekurat's group will be arriving this week. That should give them an extra advantage. Olson, Whitten and Morris should have alot of time on the water before the tournament starts. Other picks could be Scott Steil and Rick LaCourse.

Have to go with Jeff Ryan for the win.
Yes Jeff! I really enjoyed meeting you in Minnewaukan ND when you were grabbing a bite to eat. I hope you finish out the championship in strong fashion because your having a great year. Good luck buddy.

Someone who runs a Ranger, G3 or PolarKraft boat will win. I know its a daring prediction, but I'm sticking to it.

Don't count out the Crestliner guys...there's some pretty darn good sticks running those too. ;)
I see a Lund and Tuffy in the field also.
Instead of picking only 5, pick the top 10 that will be sitting in those cool boats surrounding the stage at weigh-in the last two days.
My picks and not in any particular order:
1. LaCourse
2. Harsh
3. McComsey
4. Kehl
5. Franklin
6. Riley
7. Keenan
8. Stier
9. St. Peter
10. Morris or Fallaw...I can't decide! lol

It's gonna be a river rat environment so those that can fish a river will be on top of my list:
1.Carroll
2.Kehl
3.Olson
4.Meidinger
5.Fairbairn
6.Parsons,G
7.Crow
8.Sehloff
9.Parsons, C
10.Kavajez
With all due respect to Pete Harsh, I'd stick him right in the middle of the top three or so.

I agree w/5Alive. It's Stier all the way!! He is due for a win and has had a tough year, but in general, he's the most consistant fisherman of them all. As for the other 9, I agree w/Juls above.

Before making a statement like that, "...Stier is the most consistant of all of them", Make sure you check the facts. He did end up 47. I am not disputing that stier is a heck of a guy as well as fisherman, there is no doubt he is OVER due for a major win. But this time I will go with BSP.
