Ron is retired, Dan and Jim are working hard on doing television stuff in their own production company, some of it fishing related some not. The non-compete agreement with Primedia runs out in May, then you'll see Al back on TV again doing what he does best. He's got a fishing show in the works with a Christian message. I'm curious to see exactly what he has in mind.

We all miss Al & Ron on the shows but I would disagree that the show is not up to standards. You may not see as many of the old faces but the zeal and superior content is very much there.

Doug Stange and crew do a great job bringing a diversified world of fishing to the viewing and reading audience. A more diversified programming schedule is great to see. Some high tech, and some not so high tech approaches to angling serve the angling public much better in my opinion.

Still the best fresh water angling multi media format there is by far.

It will be interesting to see what pops up after may too.
