If you can get there by boat..is my guess.
I would think they should keep it to no more then 20 mile from launce site

With the new Federal rules to prevent the spread of the virus, I would expect it to only be on Wis. waters. That still leaves an awful lot of water to cover. Have fun everyone.

It will be way more than 20 miles from the lauch site. It is 50 miles to michigan waters, and there will be peple running close to there.
50 mile from the launch site on big water like green bay most boats do not have fuel tanks large enough to make a trip like that my boat only has 35 gal. tank Cabela's should shrink the boundry for this tournament so all boats in the tournament have the ability to reach the outter most boundry and back to the launch with fuel to spare this would create a balanced playing field for all.

Why in the world would they make it a 20 mile limit?? Whats next, you cant fish out of a boat that costs over 35k$$ new? cant use reels that cost more then then 89$ / peace. cant use planer boards, because not everyone trolls?? as long as there arnt people caging fish im fine with a no boundry.. however money brings out the worst in people..

butch....
it is 52 miles from launch to mennominee river...that would be the closest mich water....no one should have to go more than 20 miles to catch winning fish...lots of quality fish within 7 miles or closer
good luck to all.............

My guess with VHS on the powers to be's minds. That boundries will be WI waters. Still a good hike for those that want to run way north. But I doubt many, if any, will run that far.

They did have boundries that year on day one in 2004. Day one was a "foul weather day" which limited the field to just south of the Ford River area to across the bay to the point that divides Little and Big Bay. (I forget the Point name and bouy). Fishing was in Little Bay only. You could go to other areas on day two. Big Bay, or south of Ford River, etc.
Good Luck on Green Bay. I know there is good fishing there as a couple of my friends won an MWC there a few years back with an impressive bag.
