anyone hear the day 1 results at sherman res in nebraska?

Had a buddy who is fishing. He said leaders caught 24 lbs. Only 4 or 5 limits of fish. Lots and lots of zeros and ones. Sounds like creek chubs are best bait. But who knows, all fishermen are liars.

I don't think you can find the results online for this one. I called and talked to a guy last night to see what was going on up there and it just happened to be that they were in the lead after Day 1. Said they had a couple pigs. Sounds like the Pro's that were fishing it didn't fair to well. He only told me that Probst Jr. had only 1 keeper. Wouldn't give me any info really other than that they were in 1st place with around 23#.

Today might be different though cause the wind is blowing here pretty good.

Was a good tourney. Paid what they said on a 80 teem field. There was 95 boats in the tourney . Both Bob Prost and Bob Jr. were there. Sr had over 10 lbs. and Jr, had about 4.lbs. Ben Gaver from Lincoln,Ne. won with about 30lb. tolal weight. Great job the Gaver teem did. A lake that small with most of the tourney boats and a lot of regular fisherman stacked on thunder island . made things very tought not only sat but sunday to. great job Ben
