I bet that you got some wrong information. I know that the Devils lake tournament has been full with a waiting list on both the pro and co-angler sides for a long time. It was the first to fill in Febuary. And even if it wasn't full, priority dead line is past.

Are you sure you didn't misunderstand them? Or, unless people are dropping out for some reason or another, that event was the first one with a waiting list on both the Pro and the Co sides.

Also, looking at the rules, under "Participation and Eligibility", you would have needed to find a Pro counterpart by February 12th for priority entry. As it stands right now, you would be on the "order of entry" waiting list. Even if you had until the "entry balance deadline date" of that event, that has passed too. That was May 15th.

Here's the rule in question:
2. Participation and eligibility
Anglers entering with a counterpart (pro with a co-angler, or co-angler with a pro) by February 12, 2007, will be given priority; anglers entering all four events with a counterpart by February 12, 2007, will be given top priority. All others will be confirmed in order of entry.

Maybe I'm wrong, but the way I read this is, that you would have needed to find a counterpart for this event by February 12th. Those on the waiting list above you should be given a Pro counterpart before you, if the time/date stamp "order of entry" is what it is.

Those that called in their entry early should have priority over someone who waited to enter. It wouldn't be fair otherwise.
