I am wondering if anyone wants to spill the beans about the team that was caught cheating? I guess that a certain team was clipping tails to meet the slot requirments. I know it is one of two teams and they each placed in the top 10. I also heard that it was Gerrick M. and Dan Stier that caught them. Can anyone verify this, and if it is true was their any punishable actions taken?

wow! clipping tails ,, be carefull the last two threads talking about cheaters are now locked out... no names without proof.. but clipping tails ,,, thats crap! bust them hard... breaking a rule comming in late no proof of boat check in the morning fishing with 6 lines when 4 is a tourny rule unknowingly is one thing.. and grounds for instant disqualication.. but trimming a tail to make a fish shorter to make a slot,,, if its true... HIT THEM HARD!

Guys, I fished the tournament at Oahe and that's simply not true. The fish in question had an irregular tail, and it was a fish that was under 20-inches to begin with. I questioned one of the anglers on the advisory committee and he told me as such at the Day 2 weigh-in. The team in question, called in to the tournament director and questioned what they should do because they were considering tagging it. There was a discussion by the advisory committee at the Day 1 weigh-in which I first hand witnessed. The fish in question was kept aside in a separate tank and they all determined that it was a natural, but irregular tail, and like I stated, the fish was more in the 19 to 19 1/2-inch size range, it wasn't a fish that was questionable as far as being over 20-inches. Hope this sets the record straight.
Just goes to show, that once again, the anonymous posters are quick to ruin reputations with unfounded accusations. "I heard", or "I guess", does not make a rumor true.
Thanks for clearing that one up so quickly Corey...much appreciated!
