I hope this question and answer format shown when you click on the Day 1 report on the leader board and on the main page new articles isn't going to become PWT's new vessel to recap the previous days fishing. While it was never a "don't put it down" novel in regards to the updates, it did at least give you a quick overview of the fishing and who was on em or not..Maybe I missed something but the only thing I saw under the Mille Lacs "Day 1" title was a question/answer forum that had nothing to do with said "Day 1". Is there an article somewhere else to review the conditions and patterns going on? Thanks..RJ

Is that a product of the PWT, or WC? I see an unusual bias towards the FLW, and not for the PWT on this site, just my opinion however.

I don't believe WC is the source for this info. I believe they are just posting and passing on the media information that is made available to them by the hosting circuits.

The Question and Answer format is from Walleye Central.
Just getting input from the anglers.

We always post either a WC article or the circuit Press Release but the PWT didn't come out with the Press Release until today for yesterday, so I didn't have it to post it.

It's there now.

I post 'em when I get 'em ;-)

Personally I like the Q&A, it gives a little insight into the tournament fishing world from their perspective.

Thanks for the clarity Scott!! I am mistaken as I just assumed since the Q&A was showing up with the daily articles that it was also being provided by the PWT. I probably didn't make my question sound very PC, I too haven't minded the format most of the time when a good specific question led to good specific answers. This time around I thought the question was a bit to general which in my opinion gave the Pro's too much room to use it as a billboard. I know that's what their sponsors expect from them but I wish sometimes they felt they could leave the name dropping out and just talk fishing or the lifestyle. No harm done, hope I didn't offend you or your site with my question. I do still enjoy the daily articles provided to you to get a quick sense of whats going on at the tourney site and with the fishing. I usually stop reading the provided articles as well when they drag the sponsors into it as well. Thanks for all the hard work, my Skeeter boat, Ram rodholders, Lowrance electronics, Berkley fishing rods, Northland spinner blades, Reef Runner cranks, Owner hooks, and Gods nightcrawlers and leeches enjoy the site...RJ in Montana..

Just a little CYA here, I did not intend for either my initial post or my last reply too read as a bash against any of the anglers who were queried! A couple of them are true legends of the PWT and I'm sure they're all plain old good guys to boot! Sometimes all the "I'd like to thank my sponsors" talk just gets to me...This probably isn't going to help my search for future sponsors is it?? Ruh Roh, too late....I get tired of listening to and watching TV athletes mugging for their sponsors and God every time they step in front of a mic or a camera and I just want to think that Walleye guys are more down to earth....OK, time to put the soap box away and crawl back in my hole....

I'm disappointed by the coverage provided by the tour. You would think that In-Fisherman would have something and they hardly post anything.

Lots of lip service given "taking this sport to the next level" then hardly anything for us at home or work.

The FLW does a pretty decent job but I think they all could do better job of letting us know what is going on.

I would of been able to write this with out the help of Lund Boats, Mercury Outboards, Shorelander Trailers, Toyota Trucks, St. Croix Rods, Quantum Reels, Northland Tackle, Stowmaster Nets, Trilene and Rapala.

I think it is great when people acknowledge God as the source of their success. He is the one sponsor you will never lose.

I assume then that it would only be proper to acknowledge God as the reason for our failures as well then?? If thats the case life just got a great deal easier and a huge responsibility has been lifted...

Nah, that responsibility belongs to us (and maybe the powers of darkness). Every person if responsible for their own actions. We can experience a huge burden lifted though, through Christ's success on that cross, even life from the dead.
