Steve,
Your win is no surprise to amybody who has ever been in a boat with you! You are an incredible live bait rig fisherman. The only reason this is your only PWT win is because it is the only event you ever fished! Congratulations!

Congratulations certainly are in order to Steve Bradt for a big PWT win on Mille Lacs Lake. In spite of the size limit and no cull restrictions it took a solid game plan with good execution to reel in a mighty big win. Steve did just that with three excellent days of fishing. Congratulations also to son Geoff Bradt for his ninth place finish. (Like father like son.) Certainly a great tournament for both. Al Sholts, Day 1&2 leader deserves a congratulation too for his strong second place finish and the holding the lead on day 1&2. All three anglers are excellent live bait fishermen known for their precise boat control skills. What better place than Mille Lacs lake to cash in on those skills.
Noteworthy too was that all three anglers ran Ranger 620T tiller boats. If you added together the horsepower up from the first and second place finishers, (115+150=265 h.p.) it would not match the h.p. from some of the individual wheel boats that competed. This is one tournament where finesse and boat control ruled the day, not speed.
Congratulations to all the top ten finishers!

Guys,
Thanks for the kudos on the PWT and Congrats to Pete for the FLW win. With rookies like Al Sholts, Kevin McQuaid, Geoff, Chuck Dube and others (most of which are fishing teh FLW LEague also), I wasn't surprised that we did so well, with four of us finishing in the top 10, though I never expected to win. Pete is right, boat control played a big part in my catch.
Thanks again and to let you know I still think I am dreaming.
