I am thinking next year I might get my feet wet(No my boat doesnt leak) as a boater in a few tournements, do you guys that fish them prefer a draw/blind date tournement like the FLW or desiganted partner type tournement? Mn has a couple of smaller tournement ckts that are designated partner.

Most of my money is spent on fishing, fishing tackle and boats, the rest is wasted:exactly:. moreyes <'{{^}}< :cheers:http://www.walleyecentral.com/photopost/showgallery.php?cat=500&ppuser=106750

From your post it sounds like you have never done a tournament before. So if that is true, I would deffenitly start off doing a smaller club tournament or something in your home state. Ther are alot of great fisherman that fish your local state tournies that could do very good on the big sceen, but because of finances or other reasons dont fish the bigger pro tournies. If you have never been the decision maker on the boat as to what to fish or where to fish in a tourny, it is a totally different game. It is an expensive lesson if you try and start off in bigger circuits, rather then in smaller ones.
