Congratulations to all one hundred twenty-three teams that fished in the MWS Mills Fleet Farm tournament for over $17,000 in cash and prizes.
Sunday started with rain by the time the teams were released the rain pretty well stopped. The rest of the day was overcast with a few light showers. The entire Winnebago system was open to fishing, with eighty-eight of the one hundred twenty-three teams weighing fish. Twenty-three teams weighed a five fish limit. There were Two hundred seventy-two fish weighed for a total weight of 551.14#. The winning team fished with crawler harnesses.
The team of Gary Henschel and Wayne Hoelzel took first place with a five fish limit weighing 15.22# winning them $4,600. The second place went to the Father/Son team of Dan Sislo and Brian Sislo with five fish also totaling 15.22# for $2,400. Dan and Brian also had the big fish of the tournament weighing 6.20# winning them two plaques donated by All Sport and Trophy, $100 in Gift certificates from Mack’s Lures, a hand held GPS donated by Marine General, and some Ka Boom lures. Third place went to the team of Scott Rohloff and Mike Wright with five fish weighing 14.88# for $1,300. Fourth place went to the team of Dick Hvizdak and Greg DeKalb with five fish weighing 13.58# for $1,000. Fifth place went to the team of Rick Gable and Rick Kerr with five fish totaling 13.04# for $900.
Current Team of the year is Rick Tadyszak and Jim Kissinger. Current husband/wife Team of the year is Don and Christine Trester. Current parent/child Team of the year is Butch and Travis Mac Donald. Current Sibling Team of the Year is Brian Regall and Terry Regall.
