One of the tentative sites for the 2008 FLW Tour is Mille Lacs. There is word that they may have to move that event.
How about some guesses or show your preference for where it should go?
I'm thinking Lake Winnebago at that time of year should be great, but there is the issue of a 4 day event in Wisconsin and whether the DNR would allow the permit.

Devils Lake is a great body of water. I've had my two best finishes as a co-angler there. But my opinion is go somewhere else. I wish the FLW could get away from being close to Walmart, if that were the case, Lake of the Woods would be a great body of water.
On a side note, at least the people at FLW decided to not go to Red Wing again......they need to keep switching locations/time of year to keep everyone interested in the different bodies of water.
Just my opinion,

Anywhere but devils or red wing. How many times do we have to go to the same spot? How is that helping to expand the sport? Pros are starting to beat each other up over several spots that are known producers. If we go there for the next five years straight we might be able to fit the whole field in 4 or five locations.
Lets try somewhere new please. Tough bites are the best way to seperate the contenders from pretenders. They're not alot of fun, but sometimes that opens up a whole new segment of the public to walleye fishing--ie. bull shoals.

Lake Stockton Mo....It's been a few years since the PWT was there. Good walleye water.

The best location hands down is the St. Mary's River in Sault Ste. Marie in the U.P in Michigan. The PWT has been there a couple of times and had great tournaments. Lots of fish and hundreds of good locations to fish in the St.Mary's River system.

Why might they have to move it?

And 12 miles is not that far for the final ten to travel to get to a walmart.
