Can anybody report on the river levels in Iowa? Seeing how bad the Il. river is I was wondering how bad it is on the big Miss. I hate to drive all the way down there for nothing. I believe a few years back they waited till the last minute to call it (Wildlife Forever) when we were to fish that system. If I remember correctly it was way above flood stage before it was called.

Looks like the water level is still 7' below flood stage and on the drop for that area Manny. I haven't checked the weather, but I don't think there are anymore big rains on the horizon at this time either, is there?

I was out last night for a ride. Water level is dropping at a good rate. Water is still a bit dirty and duck weed floating quite a bit. Alot of smaller sticks and logs out their. Let me know if you need any more info. I live here in the Dubuque area
A friend of mine in Minnesota told me that parts of the state have been pounded with rain and that water will be on the way down, yet the forcast shows falling levels. Lets hope for the best....by the way, where can I buy willow cats?

I was out on the water today and its very muddy with a lot of debris just under the surface. The river is still falling but we are supposed to get a lot of water from the north. Back waters are full of duckweed.I dont think we will have to worry about the tourney getting called unless we get some drastic rainfall. The forecast calls for dry day for the next week. Hope this helps!!!!!
