Kevin and I would like to Congradulate the Top Winners of the Tournament, The Hartmans! Great Job on the First WIN and 1st place and nice finish for the TEAM of the Year!! Way to get it done! Gentilman!!! Well deserved IMO!

Also nice Job to Mike Robertson and Mike Tobias for a Impressive 2nd finish and Take 2nd for Team of the Year!! These Guys are true competitors! Way to Go guys!

And of course We have to Give Props to Nicholas Zart and his Dad,Gary for finishing 3rd in Team Of the Year Points !!! This Kid is a competitor and a great Kid who fishs every tournament like little pro.. this Kid impresses me more and more each time out!!! Congradulations Nicholas on a great year of fishing and We look forward to fishing with and against ya for many years to come!! Another Great Father and Son Team!!!

Thank you WBSA/LEWT for a great year and a fun tourney trail!!! This was out First Trail and We had a great time with some class acts some some great sticks, We are looking forward to HawgFest and 2008!!!

Well said Frank. Great job done by all, congrats. And as for Nicholas all i can say is wow, I'm sure alot of people think that its all Gary but I can tell ya its not I have seen it first hand. The kid is an absolute phenom and a great kid to top it all off. Gary you and Julie have done an awsome job. I just feel bad for ya when he gets old enough to fish by himself, because I think it will sting a little the first time he spanks ya. lol

Great job on the WBSA / LEWT this year by the club. The job that Marc Hudson, Chris Williams, Matt Davis and countless other volunteers have done with getting the LEWT together is fantastic. Also a huge thanks to the generous sponsors for making this possible. As someone who remembers the days of wondering if we were even going to have more than 10 teams show up the morning of a tournament prior to the WBSA / LEWT this is all EXTREMELY IMPRESSIVE!

Congrats to the Hartman's for getting their first WIN on Saturday. You guys have been remarkably consistent the past few years and congrats on winning the Team of the Year race in an extremely tight contest with Robertson and Tobias who took 2nd.

Nicholas and Gary Zart for their third place finish in Team of the Year as another father & son team is an awesome showing especially when you consider Nicholas doing this as a 10 year old!!! I've had the pleasure of fishing with Nicholas several times over the past few years and he is the real deal. I remember him setting dipseys and board lines a couple years ago by himself one day when they came out on my boat. Another all time classic moment out on the lake was 3 years ago on my boat and someone was reeling in a nice fish and it came unbuttoned and Nicholas matter of factly stated - "I told you not to reel so fast." Hopefully I'll get a chance to fish with Nicholas again this fall.

Looking forward to a great time at the Hawgfest with a full roster of 100+ teams in a couple weeks.

Congratulations to the Hartmans on their LEWT Team of the Year award and also to the team of Robertson and Tobias with an impressive 2nd place finish in the TOY race.

A special congratulations goes out to Team Starcraft father and son team of Gary Zart and Nicholas Zart for their third place finish in the Team of the tear race on the LEWT. This is a special moment for this team. They had an incredible year on the circuit pulling down a 1st, 3rd and 7th place finish for their top three. The incredible factor here is that Nicholas is ten years old. Nicholas is a very smart, motivated, competitive and well manored young man and boy can he fish. He can flat out handle running any big water program you ask him to perform. Dipsy's, jets, leadcore, in-lines, and cranks. This young man is going to continue to learn and fine tune his techniques and all I can say is we are all going to be in trouble when he gets his first boat and starts competing against us.
Nicholas you have a lot to be proud of with what you have accomplished with your father in your first year fishing against many of the top fisherman and toughest sticks around on Lake Erie on the LEWT.

Nicholas first off I am so glad that we got to know each other years ago and I have been able to watch you grow and become the young gentleman you are today. You will always be my little fishing buddy. You are welcome on my boat anytime!!! I am proud to have you on our Team Starcraft pro staff along with dad. You continue to impress me with your fishing ability but more so with your personality. Keep up the great work!

Hats off to the father and son team the Hartmans! Congrats on your first WIN, Team of the Year and Big fish, man what a day I’m sure you’ll cherish it forever. Congrats to Mike Robertson and Mike Tobias for taking 2nd in TOY and the tourney. You guys rocked super hard this year and are very fierce competitors. Actually Congrats to all the top finishing teams, it was a super tough bite and you guys got it done, well done fellas, well done.

I got a give a special shoutout to the biggest little man of them all Nicholas Zart of Team Starcraft, this kid is only 10 years old and with the help of his father Gary he took 3rd in TOY and took 7th place in this tourney amongst a win and other top finishes. I can’t tell you how proud I am of this kid, he is one tough 10 year old to do what we do on this circuit, especially with Gary behind the wheel!! LOL, no complaints, he keep his head up high and just goes out and fishes with the rest of us and TOUGH!! and he is extremely well mannered and polite. Rough water and tough bites don’t mean a darn thing to this trooper, I can’t wait to see more of him in the future, most likely ahead of me and Frank LOL. I’ll be dreading the day you face off against Frank and Iwhen your old enough to man your own boat/team. You’ll be one to look out for!.

Gary, it’s been a great season, you have helped Frank and I get through it all and you made our goose egg feel like a accomplishment, I want to thank you with everything I got you’ve been a great team to work with and even a better friend. I look forward to all of this next year. Mike and Jason. What can I say you guys are the bomb and I’m glad we’ve hooked up and become friends, I also look forward to more laughs, networking and partying with the both of you, and I promise I’ll try to keep my motor off of your hoist for more than one day!!

I want to thank Marc, Matt, Chris and all the great and helpful volunteers that make this series possible. It’s been such a good time fishing the LEWT I will be thinking about every event all winter long counting down the days to next April. So thank you for having such a great local trail that we can all enjoy. To the sponsors as well, you guys make these tourney’s happen, your generosity doesn’t go unnoticed, so thank you to all that donate prizes, time and effort into this growing club.

Tim, Steve C. Gary and wife, and all the other WBSA members and OGFer’s that I see and talk to at these events, I think seeing and talking to all of you is one of the best parts of fishing the LEWT, the comradely is just awesome.

You know, we are so pleased to able to fish and compete against some well know folks, the talent we see in every tourney is just awesome. Frances and I have learned so much this year and made some great friends and are so looking forward to next. This was a great thing for us to get involved in and will contiunue so. We've had a trying year, several deaths in the family, getting married and a home addition project that came str8 from ####. So much we wanted to do including I had signed up for all 4 FLW events with Juls and was never able to make one. Hats off to the top finishers. We'll see all in a few week at Hawgfest.

I really appreciate what you said. That was very nice of you guys. I am happy you are my friends. I love fishing with all of you. I would love to go out on your boats sometime to catch some pigs. I learned alot from my dad this year. I have fun fishing in the LEWTs and I will probally be doing them for a long time. It's cool talking to everyone after the weigh ins like Travis and his dad,Kevin,Frank,Tim,Greg,Woody,Mike,Rob C,Matt,Dan,Chris,Mark,Steve. Thank you Matt,Chris,and Mark for letting me fish the LEWTs. I am very luck that I am fishing and cant wait till next year. I am happy that Greg let me be a part of Team Starcraft it is the coolest thing I have ever done.
