I'm sure Corey will post the results soon. I was at Sunday's weigh in. 17 some odd pounds won. Only 2 teams brought in 5 fish limits on Sunday. Very tough bite and tough conditions both days with extreme cold front moving thru. Saturday morning my thermometer showed 26 degrees at 6:30 AM. Burrr.
Minnewaska has made a great recovery as a walleye fishery but can be very humbling at times.

Regards,

Scott Lee

Since there is six times as much water as dry land on earth, any fool
can plainly see the good Lord meant for man to fish six times as much as he works.

We'll have the complete results and story up on the official tournament website at www.fallwalleyeclassic.com later tonight. Video highlights are already up on the website for those who want to see some of the fishing and weigh-in action.

Kenny Neumann and Jack Greengo won the tournament with a two day total weight of 17.47-lbs. Big cold front on Friday shut down the bite with a high of 50 on Friday and a low of 26 on Saturday morning. Pre-fishing had been very good and some teams had 18 to 20-lb. bags per day heading into the tournament, but that's fishing.

A total of 93 fish were caught on Saturday and 99 fish were caught on Sunday. Day 1 biggest walleye---4.54-lbs. (Dave Bjorkman / Dave Longtine--$650). Day 2 biggest walleye---5.94-lbs. (Tony Renner / Charlie Renner--$650). I really want to thank the 75-teams who fished this year and really look forward to next year.

Here's the top 15:
1. Kenny Neuman / Jack Greengo 17.47-lbs. ($6,000)
2. Todd Andrist / Kyle Andrist 13.20-lbs. ($3,000)
3. Richard Jobe / Travis Jacob 11.50-lbs. ($2,000)
4. Tony Renner / Charlie Renner 11.23-lbs. ($1,500)
5. Randy Peterson / Scott Peterson 11.17-lbs. ($1,350)
6. John Herd / Drake Herd 10.83-lbs. ($1,200)
7. Josh Schoeck / Tim Schoeck 10.50-lbs. ($1,000)
8. Brad Carr / Jarod Carr 9.47-lbs. ($700)
9. Jim Huston / Dodi Huston 8.99-lbs. ($600)
10. Bryan Winterfeldt / Darrin Herd 8.59-lbs. ($500)
11. Eric Jensen / Lance Jensen 7.41-lbs. ($350)
12. Wayne Johnson / Tom Jensen 7.23-lbs. ($350)
13. Rick Jenneke / Troy Marco 7.17-lbs. ($350)
14. Dave Bjorkman / Dave Longtine 6.96-lbs. ($350)
15. Bill Bigalke / Mark Marohl 6.68-lbs. ($350)

*There were some multiple winners as Jim and Dodi Huston took 9th overall ($600) and were also the Husband/Wife division winners ($450); Tony and Charlie Renner were 4th overall ($1,500) and also won the Father/Son division ($450) while also claiming a big fish check on Day 2 for another ($650).

*I started typing and before I knew it, I had pretty much everything posted. Again, congratulations to the top 15 and a big thank you to all the teams who participated. Thanks also to WC for allowing us to post on this site. Hope everyone has a good fall fishing season. Tightlines.
