What a great victory. Knowing you didn't have a big crew or network to pre-fish, this victory should mean a lot. You have won the game when the odds were against you.
Hard work, decision making ability, and confidence made the difference. Your determination was shining again.
The next year you have the privelage to hold the biggest trophy in walleye fishing. Enjoy being the FLW Champion!

Dustin, you were the most consistent during the tourney and one of the most consistent all year long. Congrats to you!! Cory told me after your first day weight that he guaranteed you would win because of your prefishing patterns, he said the first day would tell it all. Way to figure out your program and stick with it.

Job well done. You earned this victory. Plus you had a great year. As I recall you did a second on the Detroit River. Made the top 10 in Escanaba, and now this victory.

Thanks to everyone for the compliments, I still can't believe that I pulled it off. I had luck on my side. I hade 3 awesome co anglers and even my lucky camera guy. Congrats to all the people that made the championship, with all the tough competitors we face just making the big show is a huge accomplishment.
Right now I'm very excited for a full 7 or 8 hours of sleep.
Thanks to all my sponsors BF Goodrich, Evinrude, Ranger, Minn-Kota, Lowrance and Northland Fishing Tackle. I couldn't do it without these guys.
I'd also like to thank Janet Flynn and WC for the great coverage, my friends and family are now hooked on Walleye Central.
