are the payouts going to be better than last year. We recieved 300 for third place and no plaques with almost 40 boats last year. And what does the 20.00 membership go for. We recieved no newsletter or anything for our fee. Doesn't make much since.

Justwonderin,
Regarding the plaques..... As has been the case for the past number of years, all plaques are given to the respective teams at the annual banquet the following year. As always, plaques will be given to the top three places for each qualifier and the championship. The banquet will be held February 23rd at the VFW in Alliance, OH. If you can't attend, we would be happy to send you the plaques.
Regarding the payouts and the membership fee.... The payouts at each tournament are based on the number of boats that fish the tournament. As we have always done, we do hold back some of the monies from the qualifiers (and use the membership money) for the championship payout, prizes, and the points championship payout. This rewards all of the anglers that invest the time and money in fishing the entire circuit. Last year, we paid out over $12,000 in cash and prizes for the championship and points race.
Regarding the mailers.... We defray the expense of mailers by e-mailing all schedule and tournament information to current and prospective members. We also keep our website ( www.wrwaohio.com ) up to date with all pertinent information.
If you (or anyone else) would like to get on the email list or have any other questions, please email me at collinm@neo.rr.com or visit our website for any new info.
Regards,
Collin

Justwonderin, I have a third place plaque from the geneva open from the WRWA last year so I'm wondering if you meant you placed third overall and the western basin club did not hand out plaques.

Hey John! Great job last weekend. Congrats to you and Sam. Bet you guys were pumped. Just wondering if you were doing the happy dance on the boat like you were last year at Tappan. Good luck Saturday.

I brought a brand new dance to the game it was called the pop lock and drop it.POP the rod LOCK the bail and DROP the rod back. The fish must of thought it was pretty smooth but I think it made Sam throw up a little.I know he threw up when we pulled in that 5 pounder but don't let him full you, he busted out his moves and let them rock. Thanks alot for the congrats we really appreciate that. This weekend should be good so bring your moves if you got them.
