Well here it is from the cats mouth. I just called the GFP office in Pierre I talked with Jeanne who is in charge of issueing the permits for fishing tournaments. She stated that she has just received a request for permits for two SD tournaments from the Lowrance Pro Team Walleye Circuit. She said these permits were received just in the last couple of days.

So when is/was the deadline in S.D. to apply for a permit? Most states it would be to late.
If it is granted and from previous posts it would be a S.D. only shoot out?
I just wish Billy or someone from LPT would let us know exactly what the statis is for the good of the whole B S. I guess it gives us a little light through this dark tunnel we are traveling.

I believe that in ND you need to apply 30 days prior to a tournament.

I am not sure on that all I know is what she said they have applied for them. Actually I did check on another tournament for a friend of mine and his was not in yet. She did say there was plenty of time yet to file one for a June tournament. So, I think its 30 days though.

I hope they're able to get things together. Their tourneys were fun and it's nice to see a lot of the same guys each time.
Not in ND

There wont be any tournaments in ND until all teams get their checks. Way too much bs going on and the G&F is sick of hearing about it.

I just looked on the Mobridge Chamber website and see that the Lowarance pro team tourn is listed as an upcomming event so one must think that his permit was granted in mobridge. Does anybody know for sure that he has gotten his permit for Chamberlain! thanks

WE're out! Just changed my vacation dates and none of them include LPT events. It's sad to do when you have money invested but I cant wait any longer. still hope to see some of you on the water.

The mobridge chamber had that on stuff as early as december or earlier so i would not go by that.
It sounds like to me there will be some PTL tournaments. And I hope so Ive fished lots of tournaments and the PTL is one of the best ive fished. They payed back 100% and above of the entry fees. And its been alot of fun.
No, they didn't "pay" back 100%. They wrote checks for 100%. The problem is the difference between the two.......
There's an old saying that fits here.
No matter how many times you kick a dead horse he is not going to get up and run.
