Anyone hear how many teams are in for all 4 as earlybirds?

63 as of Jan. 30th. That's over 1/4 of each tournament. Kaz is back!

It would be 64 if Mille Lacs was not on the schedule. This team will not put up $600 to fish for 14-16 inch fish!

Badfinger - I know how you feel and respect your position. Having said that, the MWC has so much to offer, I would not let that get in the way of entering. I too wish Mille Lacs was an open slot. But for me, having spent a lot of time up there, the slot is not going to deter me. They havent even said for sure that the slot is going to be 14-16 yet anyway. That Minneapolis Tribune article talks about that being tentative from what I have heard. Even if thats what they decide on, it turns it in to a big fish tournament. You get 2 over 28 and you are going to have atleast 15 pounds. Do it 2 days in a row and you are in good shape. Your slot fish will probably weigh 5 pounds. So go have fun enjoying the Mille Lacs area and all the MWC has to offer. There are worse things than tossin back 3 to 6 pounders all day(unless you do it all day long hehehe, I know Im not that good). Besides thats only 1 of 4 tournaments. Also, you have a good shot at the championship wich will be fun as heck(cross my fingers we make it in our first year fishing it full time). Lets hook up pre fishing up there and have some fun sharing stradegy. E-mail me off line. I hope ya rethink your opinion.

Yes, planned earlybird but will now enter single for all, except Mille Lacs.

The "Proposal" was sent to Garbers Desk. He will sign it without even reading the damb thing!

If you do well in the other 3 you can still qualify for the championship. Hope you qualify. Hope I do too. Respect your decision but I will fish Mille Lacs myself. Hope to meet you some time! Good fishing!! See ya on the water.
