Mercury will award the season's Top 10 anglers a total payout of $16,250 and a 250 ProXS OptiMax to the 2008 Angler of the Year if he or she wins in a Mercury-powered boat.

> Masters Walleye Circuit/FLW Walleye League

Mercury will award $500 to the winner of each MWC and FLW Walleye League event if the angler wins in a Mercury-powered boat. Potential prize money totals $9,500.

Very nice and I thought I got a Merc because it looked and sounded cool :cheers:

MWC is sponsored by Mercury so that is no surprise. It's a smart move by them, especially since they've told their anglers in the past they didn't want them to fish an FLW event over an event they sponsored.

Mercury has lost a tremendous amount of top promotional pros due to this policy, hopefully they'll keep more onboard now.

I missed that, the last time I looked at the Merc site they did not have the Leugue just the Tour, I see they do now, cool.
